About Inside Japan
Inside-Japan.com came about after years of searching for down to earth information about Japan, and not finding very much of it on the Internet. While it's true there are plenty of websites and blogs out there, few we found seemed to contain straightforward information about Japanese culture, travel, life, and work..
Another reason we decided to start this site is due to the frustration of finding so much information that is stereotypical, biased, or just plain wrong. So we decided there needs to be a site about Japan written from a balanced, fair, and objective persective. No bias, no judgement, just journalistic articles and information written by people with first hand knowledge and experience.
As you can see, we're really just getting started. We've added several articles about Japanese culture and Japanese daily life, and we'll be adding plenty more in the weeks and months ahead. When it comes to Japan information, we're aiming for quality over quantity, and balance over hyperbole. This might not appeal to all visitors, but we hope it will appeal to you.
